Field Superintendent

Eagle Commercial Construction is seeking a Field Superintendent with at least 5 years’ experience in construction and 3 years’ experience as a superintendent.

 Responsibilities:

Being on site to oversee all the construction process

Ensuring that the budget is followed and on track

Organizing the workers to maximize production and performing adequately

Performing general inspections of the workers and their performance and safety

Following the project construction process to ensure that it is completed on time

Supervising the subcontractors to ensure they are punctual and that they deliver

Ensuring quality throughout the construction project and that the jobsite is clean and orderly at all times

Ensuring that the project’s schedules are followed and maintained

Keeping track of as-built drawings and documentation for project close out records

 Qualifications: 

At least 5 years’ experience in construction with at least 3 years’ experience as a superintendent

Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of commercial construction

OSHA 10 Hour Safety Training

Professional appearance and demeanor

Bilingual a plus

Superintendent:

 ARW Contracting, Inc., is a well-established, family owned and operated, local General Contractor seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team full-time for commercial projects ranging in size from $25,000 - $2.5MM. The majority of our work consists of commercial renovation, alteration, up-fit, some new construction in a number of different types of facilities and can vary greatly so the applicant must have a good understanding of a large range of construction trades and the industry in general.

 This is a full-time position, we are busy year-round and offer a stable employment opportunity. Our projects are in and around Richmond, VA and the tri-cities. We are looking for someone who is a team player, and also able to work independently. 

 The Superintendent is responsible for all aspects of daily on-site construction activities including, but not limited to, supervising, scheduling and coordination of GC labor, subcontractors, vendors, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the job. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Clients, Architects/Engineers and subcontractors.
